Like me everyone is energy conscious and would like to do more but the cost of installing energy saving items can be prohibitive. I have replaced my boiler because it’s inefficient system. Yes of course it costs me around thousands of pounds. However the domestic wind turbines, solar panels and ground source heat pumps are too expensive and will last over ten years to recover your investment. As a homeowner I am keen to introduce changes but trapped by rising costs.
Due to rising fuel cost, I am likely to turn my heating down to save money. Any how there is a very effective way to save money and improve the efficiency of your boiler without excessive cost. You can fix a magnet to the fuel feed pipe of your central heating burner. This will make immediately improve combustion. With the magnet conditions, the gas or oil allows to mix better with air which makes the combustion improved. In fact this provides better combustion; more energy can be produced from the same fuel. So you need to change your boiler because it is inefficient and you will found excellent savings. The burner will need less servicing with improved combustion. Even you have to clean the burner of deposited soot gradually. This will make your burner long last or durable. You can also save money on your domestic fuel bills, your maintenance and prolong the life of your boiler. Even though you are still using fossil fuel, by attaching a magnet you are making efficient use of it. Don’t worry magnets are easy to fit. You have to identify the fuel pipe leading to the burner and then attach to this pipe by straps. Anyhow these magnets do not need maintenance. It will continue to be effective and when you move house, just remove it and attach it to the boiler in your new home. By predicting the cost of the fuel in future you should fix a magnet to your boiler this winter. You will recover your cost in no time.
